Dr. Domenic A. Mazzocco

I feel so honored and privileged to serve the South Shore area’s orthodontic needs. Being a part of the amazing communities in Cohasset, Hanover, and Weymouth and creating hundreds of confident and beautiful smiles each year, provides the ultimate reward for me.

There is no better feeling than meeting a young patient for the first time, knowing that they are very nervous, and then seeing them become more comfortable with us as the appointment goes on. Dentistry and orthodontics have come so far over the years, and we are proud to provide an exceptionally positive experience in our offices.

We have a great team and try to be very attentive to our patients, truly respecting their time and needs. Communication is one of our key pillars, and we focus on the whole patient, not just their teeth.

I am proud to be a Massachusetts native, born and raised in Methuen on the North Shore. I attended school at Harvard College, followed by Tufts dental school and the orthodontic program. I have to thank my many dental role models (often, my friends’ parents!) for introducing me to the field. Post-graduation, I moved to the South Shore and have been serving this area ever since.

I love spending time with my wife and two children. We are active in outdoor sports and activities, keeping a busy schedule of hockey, tennis, golf, fishing, biking, and skiing! Being local, it’s incredibly important for me to give back to the community that has been my home for so many years. I ride, yearly, in the Pan Mass Challenge. This is the largest fundraiser for The Jimmy Fund at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Throughout the year, my offices also participate in local charitable organizations and events.

Every day, I love seeing patients and interacting with my team. The actual treatments are often like puzzles and solving them can be a challenge that is very rewarding in the end. Orthodontics is a team sport! We all work together to achieve best-in-class clinical outcomes and exceptional patient experiences.

I am proud of the many contributions my team and I have made over the years. And I look forward to creating many more smiles in our community for years to come.

I am so grateful to be helping the South Shore achieve amazing smiles! I grew up in Northeast Connecticut and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Providence College with my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. I then attended the University of Connecticut for my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Following dental school, I went to Indiana University to earn my Certificate in Orthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry.

I am currently a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, and the Massachusetts Dental Society South Shore District. When not in the office, you can find me taking new exercise classes in the city, trying out new restaurants, and spending time with friends & family. It has been an honor working with and learning from Dr. Mazzocco over the last few years, and I am excited to continue meeting all of you.

Dr. Peter T. Phan

I am a New Jersey boy who moved to Boston to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine after receiving my Cell Biology & Neuroscience and Economics degrees from Rutgers University. I completed my training at Tufts University Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 2011.

Early in my career, I was invited back to Tufts to serve as part-time faculty. However, I gave up teaching when life pulled me into private practice full-time after my wife and I added two rambunctious daughters to our dog, beach, travel, and food-loving family.

I look forward to meeting all the South Shore Orthodontics families and taking care of all your orthodontic needs.
